1. What we collect
Account and profile data you provide: name, email, phone, location, work history, education, skills, job preferences, and your answers to our questionnaire. Resume files you upload. Usage data such as pages visited and features used. Payment data is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
2. How we use it
To do the job you hired us for: matching you with relevant openings, generating and tailoring CVs and cover letters, submitting job applications to employers on your behalf (which necessarily shares your application details — CV, contact info, work eligibility answers — with those employers), sending you service emails (matches found, application updates, billing), and improving the product.
3. Who we share it with
Employers — when we submit an application for you, they receive what any applicant would provide. Service providers — Stripe (payments), Loops (email delivery), Vercel and Neon (hosting and database), Google Cloud (AI processing of your resume/job matching). Advertising platforms — we use the Meta pixel and conversion tracking to measure our advertising; where used, identifiers are hashed. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Retention and your rights
We keep your data while your account is active so your application history stays intact. You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time by emailing support@remotejobs-finder.com. Deleting your account removes your profile, resumes, and personal details from the live service; some records (e.g. payment history) are retained where the law requires.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-restricted (our operations staff see only what they need to submit your applications), and we keep automated backups of critical data.
